There are many steps we have to take in order to make sure we approve the cashmere we are recycling is 100% cashmere. We check the labelling before washing and to be certain that our cashmere is pure, we have introduced a very important step to identify the cashmere before we proceed with our recycling process. We are putting jumpers under a specialist microscope for fibre analysis.

As a business which specialises in recycling post consumer waste we have always been challenged by the items which fail our stringent quality checks. It is natural, when you reuse discarded items, that there are inherent faults and they do sometimes slip by our diligent cutters and machinists. Of course these people are still paid for their work and when the fault is picked up in QC we put the item by and get our thinking caps on...
