Competition Time - Win a Summer Bundle worth over £150!

We're celebrating having a good few weeks of sun for what feels like the first time in years with a competition...

We've put together a bundle of goodies including a cashmere summer poncho, a silk slinky scarf, a silk parachute bag, a silk headband, a cashmere headband and a pair of cashmere Turtle Doves gloves - all in gorgeous colours.

All you have to do to have a chance to win is tell us which is your favourite Turtle Doves product and why you'd take it on holiday - if you have an anecdote to share or fancy putting your answer in verse all the better - in the comment box below.

In two weeks time we'll pop all the entries into a hat and pick a lucky winner and in the meantime we'll look forward to reading your comments.

Do feel free to share this competition with friends and family. There are enough goodies to share out in the bundle!

Good Luck!

Ooh definitely the hug!! In fact, what has happened to the hug??? I missed out on the gorgeous silk one I wanted last year but I love my recycled jumper hug. Holidays, barbecues, draughty church halls – it even makes a fab pillow if you roll it up when travelling but it looks so glamorous worn as a throw or shawl. Please please do some more silk ones this year!! xx

I wear cashmere in the dark in the park
O what a lark
No one knows I wear cashmere in the park because it is dark
But I do and that is what matters!
Why because it flatters
And people yatter in the dawn!

Sent from my iPhone
And when I go home even if I am alone
The tapestry holds my heart and I don’t feel apart!
And I honour the creation of the loom!

And the Weaver’s art

Men’s fingerless gloves – kept him painting the garden furniture in a wet and cold April ! Posh, sparkly ones have been a great success with disco goers – Must buy more for rest of family ! Jenny

I love the silk poncho. I treated myself when I was pregnant with my little boy. It became a staple straight away because it’s an instant touch of Gilmore and it also kept me so cool through the summer. Now my little one has arrived it’s great for discrete feeding and for hiding my mum Tim until I get it under control. I also use it as a scarf, it’s so versatile and I love it – thanks!

I’m a Welsh girl at heart, but you’ll never tear me apart from my pink cashmere fingerless gloves.
They’re perfect in Italy
As they sit there prettily
Keeping my hands snuggly and warm.
They will go with me on my honeymoon
They really take up no room,
But manage to be dual functional
Keeping my wrists warm is truly punctual
And unbelievably snuggly buggly
And something without which I can’t do without.
So in summary I love them, my pink multi functional
So snuggly pink fingerless gloves.

Turtle Doves on holiday? Oo my cashmere throw , my silky sofy fingeless mits? If it’s only 1 item it must be my silk sari bag – who knows what goodies I want to bring home?

While I love all your creations, I have been coveting after a silk parachute bag for ages, and think that would be my favourite item. As a musician, I travel all over the UK, Ireland and Europe and am always trying to fit as much stuff as I can into a small space (a bit like Mary Poppins, and I guess I sing all the time too!). As the silk parachute bag is so sturdy and strong, but also lightweight and can pack up really tiny, it’s perfect for popping into my suitcase and using at gigs as a portable CD shop!! Keep up the great work Turtledoves; I love your ethos and your work!

For everyday essentials fingerless gloves are hands down (pun intended) winners, but for absolute lifesaver credit it has to be the cashmere snood that saved my skin (quite literally) on a spring trip to Boston where we experienced a 25degree temperature difference in 48 hours. Being able to snuggle down into that soft cosiness meant I was ready for the icy blast and even managed some whale watching. I’ve just about thawed out- thanks Turtle Doves!

For all your holiday swag
Nothing beats a parachute bag
It looks so unique
The attention you seek
Will never become a drag

Without a doubt…a pair of my fingerless gloves! At the moment, my go-to pair is the pair of sand ones that you kindly sorted a very small our for my Mom, as she was very ill, and had list so much weight. Sadly she passed away in March, so I treasure the pair I had sent to her in America, helping to make her last days a bit warmer and more comfortable. I never leave home without them!

On my holidays, I might need,
A snood, a shrug, a fingerless glove,
A scarf, a hat, I must have that,
The weather may turn, so just in case,
I’ll take my woolies, not silk and lace !

My wrap – lightweight, versatile, packs down exceedingly small, and just perfect for extending the summer evenings once the sun goes down

Without a doubt the fingerless gloves will be packed. Winter or summer they are essential – especially in Keeps your hands cosy and you can still check your phone to find out where you are!

Defiantly my fingerless gloves great for any occasion and almost any weather……

I would take on holiday( In England as weather is unpredictable) my snood and fingerless gloves. The reason why is, that holidays in our country are unpredictable weather-wise, and as the above weigh virtually nothing ( being cashmere) , and are marvellous!

I love it all! How can I choose? A shrug, a hug, gloves or a hat, a poncho, a bag. Cashmere or silk? What a snag. I’m cosy and warm and stylish too. I love the colours and the choice to be me, but best of all is the great service and an online smile for free.

My favourite product is the fingerless gloves. They’re so soft to wear, I can drive in them and the best part is that I love love love the fact that they’re made from recycled jumpers and cashmere products and that you’re not guaranteed to get the exact same colour, it makes them all the more special! X

I will be packing my stripped black white grey cashmere poncho for my Scottish holiday in the autumn.
1) It’s a snuggly travel blanket/ pillow for snoozing on the 12 the jouney.
2) it’s a glamorous item for an evening out.
3) it can be crammed into a travel bag, but with a quick shake looks fab
4) Travel dressing gown.
5) the ‘frig it’s cold in here!’ Extra warm layer!
6) my poncho looks great with my Classic Tilley winter hat, black and grey to which l’ve added a 100 yr old ostrich feather.

A super silk scarf would accompany me everywhere not just on holiday. Light as a feather, wonderfully versatile and perfect to jazz up any outfit. A must have fashion accessory that is ultimately extremely useful xx??
