We're celebrating having a good few weeks of sun for what feels like the first time in years with a competition...
We've put together a bundle of goodies including a cashmere summer poncho, a silk slinky scarf, a silk parachute bag, a silk headband, a cashmere headband and a pair of cashmere Turtle Doves gloves - all in gorgeous colours.
All you have to do to have a chance to win is tell us which is your favourite Turtle Doves product and why you'd take it on holiday - if you have an anecdote to share or fancy putting your answer in verse all the better - in the comment box below.
In two weeks time we'll pop all the entries into a hat and pick a lucky winner and in the meantime we'll look forward to reading your comments.

I love the Berry Red Cashmere Fingerless Gloves, would certainly make good use of them all year round to help keep Raynaud’s at bay! ?
My favourite is the cashmere summer poncho, perfect on holiday when the sun goes down and you get that summer chill.

My fav item is the pill box hat. One sad day in February I lost it ?. I searched, revisiting old haunts to be reunited but with no success. So in May I ordered a new one. My husband keeps informing me that I really don’t have to wear it in the house but I sometimes forget that I’m still wearing it. Fingers crossed I don’t lose this one.
I have several pairs of fingerless gloves which I have had for ages and never get tired of. They keep me warm, make me feel special and add interest as contrasting cuffs to plain jumpers. Superb value and ethical too.
A silk scarf for a versatile pop of colour: as a hair band, to cinch a dress’s waist, etc…
I can’t wait to take your wonderful gloves to Chile with me in a fortnight…it’s winter there and they will be just the thing to snuggle up in!
My holiday must is my silk poncho. It’s great for wearing in hot sun as it is light but keeps the sun off. I wear a vest top and keep this to hand to avoid sunburn. Took it to Australia at Christmas. It’s also great for the chiller moments in the summer, just to keep you a bit warmer with bare arms. It’s a treat for me and my fair skin that burns at the drop of a hat. Thanks.
Without doubt your fingerless gloves! My son works as a gardener and his hobby is shooting- the gloves are excellent for both! Great value too. I really love the fact you were able to recycle my old cashmere jumper too. Wish there were more companies like yours!
My absolute favourite item has to be your amazing gloves for autumn and winter walks with the dog especially on the beach. In the spring a quick put on early in the morning or at night when out and about for an instant feeling of luxury and warmth. I Just could not live without them and have recommended them to lots of people. They have also made super gifts, which family have loved, so thank you.
I have a selection of wrist warmers, and they are so admired, keep telling them where to get theirs, and your silk is sooooo comfy, and
cool when hot, but warm on cooler days.
Turtle Dove, we so do love, our turtle dove essentials,
They make us smile and all the while they keep us warm and cosy,
The poncho fits with fabulous mitts with a snood to cause green envy,
And a silk head band to make us grand while sipping tea in Henley,
To top it all the best of all, my favourite my a whisker,
A parachute bag to make me proud when turning heads in Bentley,
Women pause in mighty ore on seeing my silk essentials,
I saw them look above their books when holiday-ing in Venice!
The silk slinky scarf would be ideal could keep me cool in the heat and such lively colours, thank you
The parachute bag is an ideal holiday must. So light but strong. When buying all those holiday gifts pull your parachute bag out of your handbag and you have somehow to carry them. To think 5p for each carrier bag that doesn’t even last to the car the parachute bag will last and last and makes good value for money.
My favorite has to be the neckwarmer, I just got one and I love it. it is the perfect size to take on a holiday, if fits in your bag whenever you’re not wearing it and when you are it warms your neck perfectly, its softness caressing your face! When you’re on holidays you can’t really carry too much, any warm scarf will take too much space. this neckwarmer is the perfec size, it won’t get in the way if you want to zip your jackett and it won’t obstruct your vission if you are looking for something in your sling bag. it is a must!
I really love the blanket from last summer made from old sari material/Indian fabrics.we used it for garden picnics and on the beach. We had several compliments about it!
For me it’s got to be my silk snood, I love wearing it. the colour is great . Many have said how nice it looks . Thank you .
I took my recycled sari silk bag to Budapest a couple of weeks ago. When there was a sudden unexpected heavy downpour that caught me without an umbrella, I protected my hair with the bag.
I worn the red cashmere headband when I went to Sri Lanka and it’s fantastic! So comfy wearing it and stopped hair getting in the way. Specially we spent days in the beach and it was brilliant!
I can’t decide between the silk snood – it is so versatile and there are some beautiful colours. I can dress up a shirt…
Or, and this is probably the winner for me, the wrist warmers – I find my wrists and lower arms get so cold sometimes and this really solves a major problem – Yes, definitely the wrist warmers.
I’ve worn Turtle Dove hand warmers, snood and parachute bag – love them all and especially love that they keep me warm and made in England. Great ideas to re use such wonderful materials. Last week Turtle Dove parachute bag hit art gold – I gave my goddaughter a wonderful parachute bag and she wore it with pride at the Falmouth College of Art graduation show. Tres chic!!
